Heres a little update on Project Paladin. Other then the basic paint job. I have also been working on the shield and the knife cover(to be place on his butt! Lol.. seriously).
One thing i don't understand about this shield is.. Why is there a freaking huge hole in the middle! First thing i need to do is to get rid of the hole.
Shield
To do that , i have to cut off the handle. Then Seal the hole with a piece of pla plate(At the back.)
After that i fill the hole with some putty.
One of the things i want to do with the shield is to let it store the sword. Made some small mods at the back, so that it can store the sword and have a handle.
Testing..
Finally , trim off the excess plastic and cover up the ugly steamlines.
Knife cover
Cut off pieces from Ryuubi's backpack to make this! LOL..
Seal the steamlines at the side with putty.
And its done!

Last look at the original Kousonsan Ez-8! And.... hellooo knight! Haha.. a teaser picture! This is actually a color test on the model kit. The paint job is not prefected yet and no panel lines are drawn. Anyhow based on the skirt armor , you can already imagine the color scheme when he is fully suited up. I have planned for some small mods on this guy.
Anyhow about the Project skull i was doing eariler. Uhh.. im kinda stuck now. Having little issues with the feet and the custom sword. Will be working on that soon.
I've just build a SD knight out of the box. And i really like the idea of having a knight gundam(custom) of my own! I have already found a great candidate for that! LOL.. The Sangokuden EZ-8 looks really "knightly" Love the helmet , armor , cape and the sword! I hate the duster thing though. Will be ditching that! Oh yeah , i even thought of the name of his guy and his Horse! Lol.. Paladin and Godsteed!
What he is really lacking(as a knight) is a shield. There! Problem solved!
This Very old SD is called King Gundam! LOL.. He has 4 sets of armor , 3 swords , 1 spear thingy and a heavily detailed shield! Awesome for a price of 20 bucks! Alot of play value , don't think i want to paint this kit though =.=;
Hi guys! There will be a slow down on my current gunpla projects. My new job requires me to study for some papers. Will still try my best to do at least a little gunpla a day Lol..Anyways i might as well post pictures of my WIPs(work in progress) here as I am not gettting much response from the forum either.
I have decided on the final name for Skull. I shall call him Phantom Knight Skull! Lol.. heavily inspired by a character in hitman reborn(Genkishi? or something like that). =x
Now that Raging Fire Ryuubi has been completed, I will be starting on my Death Squad! I plan to make a 7 men team (including Bloodlust Ryuubi). I’ll reveal the names of 3 of the 6 that I will be doing. More or less have plans for the other 3, but haven’t thought of better names for them.
Skull This one is going to get a simple kit bash. I intend to give him a creepy face! Lol...
Behemoth (The War Machine) As you can see, this will be Moukaku. Not many changes will be made on the Gundam itself. But the Elephant armor will be upgraded Jaystermaple style! LOL...
Venom Strike Shukuyuu, there will not be much changes for her as she already have a nasty face which I like! Will try to make some new weapons for her though.

Finally completed this monster! I must say , im proud of my hardwork! Heh. Turned out pretty good , although the scratch build weapons are kind of crappy.

Helmet
I always prefer to use a helmet instead of the face mask which doesn’t cover the back of the head. What is the point of wearing that if it doesn’t offer any protection? LOL... I had originally wanted to use the face mask that came with Ryuubi (I even painted it). In the end I chose to use a helm due to preference.
Common Sword
I made a custom “Common Sword” for this Gundam because the other weapons would be an over kill to take on normal baddies (like bandits and normal soldiers) I wanted to Ryuubi to have a sword that is uhh... normal and common. This is the kind of sword that breaks, rust, and can be bought at any weapon shops in that era. The kind foot soldiers would use. Lol...
Flame Swords
This powerful pair of flame swords is meant to slice, dice and burn evil! That flames get bigger with Ryuubi’s Rage! Did something a little special for the flame swords. I painted the “fire” with Fluorescent paint which did magic with UV light!
Twin Flame cannons
This weapon gives Ryuubi a finisher move, a blast from this can take out an entire mountain! LOL... but to be fair, it will need an hour to recharge after every blast =P
Demon Slayer
Finally, the biggest weapon of em all. The Demon Slayer! I thought of giving this Ryuubi an ultimate end weapon to cut down any foe. Unbreakable and super heavy sword is born from Ryuubi’s great desire to protect the ones he loves. It has boosters (behind the dragon head) to give greater slicing capabilities!
This is the completed “Naked” body of my Raging Fire Ryuubi! LOL... Orange and black, a color scheme I have never tried before. I decided to reveal this picture because it’s probably the last update on this guy for a long time as the scratch built weapons are taking longer to make then expected T.T
I’ll like to explain the head a little. Why do I give it a white colored head? Well, that’s because I wanted to give the impression that this guy is actually wearing an amour or suit. LOL...
I don’t know about you guys, but I feel that the white head and funky red hair feels a bit odd. You may need some time to get used to it. I’ve tried putting on the half painted full armor and it looks fantastic! Heh... Until next time. ^^
A little spoiler for you guys! This is the first completed part of the armor for my custom Ryuubi. As you can see, this is a backpack. A hint: This Gundam will have flight capabilities! Heh... That’s all for now. ^^
Anyhow trying to scratch build the flame sword is really quite a challenge! Two epic fails... Now I am working on a 3rd Flame sword which I am quite satisfied with so far.
First Sword: wrong material! This material is too difficult to cut; I am probably using the wrong tools for cutting it. FAIL.
Second Sword: Well... This material is really easy to cut, a regular pen knife or an art knife will do. I decided to ditch this sword as well, simply because is fugly! LOL... FAIL!
In BB Senshi Sangokuden , there aren’t many kits for the bad guys. I have thought of customizing a group of kits and call them the Death Squad! LOL.. Lead by Bloodlust Ryuubi. Here are the cast(May change with time). Speaking of time , I do not know how long I will take to complete this set of baddies! I already have plans for Moukaku and Shukuyuu, will figure out the rest soon.
I've decided to dump the "Thunder Emperor" idea and go for a fire theme instead. LOL... Because the colors I thought up for the Thunder Emperor is going to clash with one of my on going projects.
I hope you guys remember my first custom kit that I made in 2009, "Bloodlust Ryuubi" For 2011 I have decided to start off with a bang , I have plans to make a new custom Ryuubi with the new Ryuubi , his name would be Thunder Emperor Ryuubi! LOL... Anyways i will be doing something more simple not so flashy like Bloodlust.
Hopefully I can finish this kit soon, no promises though =x
Wow.. My last post was last year! It’s not like I didn't have the time to write on my blog or do gunplas, it’s just that I get tired and rather sluggish after work all the time. Since today is the Chinese New Year, I decided to pack my comic books. Damn that’s a lot of books...
